Each year guild members select worthy organizations to receive our community quilts.
Over the years we have donated hats, scarves, and doll quilts to Snohomish County’s Christmas House,
victims of the Oso landslide, Everett Fire Department, and Habitat for Humanity.
For the 2020 and 2021 years we have selected the following organizations:
The Everett Fire Department -
Quilts are distributed to victims of fires, accidents, and children involved in emergency calls.
Our goal for 2020 is to contribute 150 quilts to the fire department.
Clare's Place -
In 2019 the Everett Quilt Guild donated 74 twin quilts to Everett's newest transitional housing apartment complex, Clare's Place.
We are committed to providing a new quilt to each new resident as they begin their journey to independence.
At various times of the year we will also provide non-perishable food items to supplement the residents food needs.
Snohomish County’s Christmas House -
The guild has provided fleece hats, scarves, cell phone wallets, pillowcases, dolls, doll cloths, doll quilts, and bed quilts to Christmas House for distribution to children in Snohomish County.
