March - Machine Care and Feeding

After all our holiday sewing, we need to spend a little time pampering our machines. Pat and Laurie will walk us through cleaning and oiling basics while adding a few expert tips for maintaining a smoothly running sewing machine.

April - Valuing our Quilting History

Learn about fabrics and patterns used by our great grandmothers as they pioneered and presereved the art of quilting. Historical quilt expert Laurie Bingham will share her collection of vintage quilts and fabric while she talks about our quilting history.

May - Garage Sale

One man's trash is another man's treasurer and tihis holds true when it comes to our sewing collections. Come and shop for fabrics, patterns, books and sewing notions. All moneys collected will be donated to the guild.

June - Sharing is caring

How fast can you and a friend pin, stitch and press a 50" quilt top? Join us as we sew kid's quilts for the Everett Fire Department. All Fabrics will be precut and ready to be sewn.

July - Cathedral Window Quilts

Join Pat as she walks us through traditional and modern Cathedral Window costruction techinques.

August - Keep it Going

Bring your sewing machines and be prepared to "race to the finish" for the Everett Fire Department as we construct jelly roll firehouse quilts. All fabrics will be provided, precut and ready to be sewn.

September 2020 Yearly Business Meeting

September is when we elect officers, vote on bylaw changes, and set short turm goals while sharinging a potluck meal and enjoying each other's company.

October - Getting to know you

How much do you know about your fellow guild members. Experience "Quilt Speed Dating" and get to know each other.

November - Quilt-as-you-go

Cythia will be sharing her experiences and giving us pointers on the quilt as you go techniques she has used in her Quilt As You Go quilts.

December 2020 - Our Christmas Party

Giving is as much fun as getting. Share a potluck dinner, play a gift exchange game, and enjoy the evening celebrating the holiday season with friends. And don't forget to bring a food donation for Clare's Place.
